Education - The Forestry Outreach
Education Office at Oregon State University provides state-of-the-art events
which respond to important issues and educational needs of forestry

variety of formats with short courses, workshops, field tours, institute

Gardens - The botanic gardens include the Washington Park Arboretum, Center
for Urban Horticulture, Elisabeth C. Miller Library, Otis Hyde Herbarium and
Union Bay Natural Area, all of which retain their individual names. The UW owns
and manages the plant collections in the Washington Park Arboretum and works
cooperatively with the city and the nonprofit Arboretum Foundation there.

Botanic Gardens. It includes a 16-acre landscaped site with buildings and
gardens, and the 74-acre Union Bay Natural Area, which provides publicly
