designed to train individuals in technical forest management skills and help

positions as forest technicians with federal and state forestry
agencies.

Forest Management Technology - Wayne Community College has the oldest 2
year forestry technicians program in North Carolina. WCC is situated in
Goldsboro,centrally located in the eastern half of North Carolina close
proximity to both the piedmont and coastal plain. Training involves a variety
of classroom and laboratory coursework leading to an Associates of Applied
Science Degree in Forest Management Technology. Job opportunities are excellent
