 Position: Timber Market
Analyst (Full Time) Forest2Market, Inc., a leading provider of raw material pricing data and related analytics for the forest industry, is continuing to expand and has two entry-level, full-time data analyst positions open in our Charlotte, NC office. We are looking for highly motivated professionals who can learn and contribute quickly and significantly, to analyses our customers use to make strategic and operational decisions. This position reports to the Manager, Data Services and works directly with the CEO and other executives in the company on a project-by-project basis. Qualified candidates must have 2-4 years experience with a forest products company, TIMO/REIT, or a forestry-consulting group. A master's degree is required. Relevant internships count toward the required years of experience. Candidates must have a command of Microsoft Office software and possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. In addition, college level mastery of descriptive statistics, supply and demand economics, basic research and report writing is required. An undergraduate degree in forestry or other natural resource degree is required. Graduate work in forest economics is a plus. Knowledge of Arcview (GIS) is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be organized, flexible, and motivated to learn. F2M is revolutionizing the way the industry uses and interprets timber price data.
